Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has been around for a few months now and this quite peculiar take on the Battle Royale genre in the form of an elaborate obstacle race. It won hearts and became quite famous in no time and for good reason. Jelly-bean shaped players participate in what seems like a really long obstacle race divided into multiple rounds. Their final objective is to grab the crown at the end of the entire ordeal in order to win the match.

Its huge popularity made it only a matter of time that the game creators on Roblox would have their eyes on this and try to recreate it themselves on the platform. And voila! They created not one, but three “replicas” of this popular game, namely, SlipBlox, DropBlox, and Fall Blox. Both these games gained great popularity, thanks to various YouTubers.

Roblox sadly had to remove the Fall Guys replicas from the platform. The platform, which celebrated its 14th birthday today, has been the home to the Roblox renditions of numerous games already. True, the renditions were not as similar to the original as was the case with these. But they were similar nonetheless. Popular Roblox game Half-Blox 2 was created as a tribute to the classic Half-Life 2. It was as similar to the original as it could get, and still features in the catalog.
Although there has not been any official news, it can be assumed that Roblox got into some legal issue with Fall Guys over the replicas. Another reason why the platform has not removed games like Half Blox 2 as well is probably the popularity that Slip Blox, Fall Blox, and DropBlox has received on YouTube. These titles have been on the public eye a lot more than the others. Moreover, Fall Guys is a more recent game as compared to say, Half-Life 2.
However, this will not leave a dent on the popularity and amount of games on the platform, which currently features over 40 million games.
